How beautiful are the feet of those who bring Good News!

Isaiah 61:1-3

1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,
because the LORD has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,

2 to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor.

Good News. Freedom. Release. Favor. Vengeance. Comfort. Provision. Beauty. Gladness. Praise...is what the students can bring to their campuses. This month thousands of university students began a new school year. Just the other day one of our students was a able to minister to a classmate who was hurting as she remembered the death of her mother, whom had committed suicide exactly a year ago on that day. Nicole was able to pray with her and share the love of God in a beautiful way. Please pray as we equip and encourage students of CONEXION to build relationships with students that will have enternal consequences! Their Christian lives and faith in God is so crucial in this changing world. The university is a place were the nations leaders are formed and our students have a chance to impact the world!
